Program Description

Event Details

Virtual Memory Cafe is a fun place to socialize, relax, and engage with people experiencing memory loss and their families/caregivers. Each cafe has a focus—such as music or art—to facilitate the main goal, which is a social connection for individuals with shared experiences. At the Memory Cafe, you can just be yourself -- without worrying about remembering or forgetting.

To Join Program – Please make sure to register for this program ahead of time. Once you have registered, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to join our Virtual Memory Cafe program. The registration for this program will be open until September 8, 2020, at 1:15 PM.

Today's Theme – The Denver Botanic Gardens presents Tree Cookies

Description – Tree cookies are cut out cross sections of a tree’s trunk that can reveal the trees history.  We will observe some tree cookies together and discuss what they can tell us about the tree’s life.  We will also have time to make our own life tree cookies so make sure to bring paper, and something to write or color with!
