Program Description

Event Details

This all-day virtual seminar (9 am to 2:30 pm) will feature three sessions by one of our favorite speakers. “Finding the Unknown Father” will provide tips for how to handle what is a common problem for genealogists; the “Problem-Solving Workshop” will  feature two case studies with problems that are in an interactive format the audience will be asked to help solve by using online polls. And we’ll utilize Geoff’s position with FamilySearch to have him give us tips on how to use FamilySearch more effectively as well as its wealth of resources for Swedish Genealogy. Geoff will also talk briefly about his new book, A Practical Guide to Swedish Church Records, which will no doubt become a must-have book. This event is free.

Learn more about the book at https://swedishgenealogyguide.com/store
