The Golden Age of The Netherlands lasted roughly from 1560 till 1660. Mr. Peeters, a former professor and author of numerous professional papers, discusses the reasons for the timeless legacy of the Dutch cartographers from this time period, including the works of Blaeu, Nicolaas Visscher, Ortelius, and Joris
Hoefnagel.
