Every home has a story to tell. Who lived there before you? How did your home physical structure evolve? What is its history? Does it have a sordid past?

Your neighborhood may hold key insights into your home's history. Researching homes is similar to researching ancestors---on steroids---according to Sara. She researches older homes to discover the historical significance of the people, place, architecture, and events. As the owner of Descent Detective, she assists homeowners and associations applying for local, state, or national historic designations. Guests are welcome for this free presentation at Applewood Valley United Methodist Church, 2035 Ellis St., Golden, CO. There is ample parking and accessible entrance. To register, click here
