Program Description

Event Details

Qi Gong is the cornerstone of traditional Chinese medicine. Sometimes called "meditation in motion", Qi Gong includes slow, dance-like movements to improve breathing, reduce stress, and gently move and stretch the body. It can be done standing or in a chair.  Research shows that it has great benefits for promoting health and wellness and longevity in older adults. All levels are welcome. This is a monthly drop-in class - come to as many or as few sessions as you'd like. Registration is optional but encouraged.

This is an in-person program held in Highland Park next to the Woodbury Branch. If you have any questions or to check if the program has been canceled due to harsh weather, please reach out to Amy at adelpo@denverlibrary.org.

Funded by the NextFifty Initiative.

Sign language interpreters and real-time captioning via CART are available upon request with notice of three business days to SignLanguageServices@denvergov.org or 720-913-8487. For other public accommodation requests or concerns related to a disability: DisabilityAccess@denvergov.org.
