Event Details

Qi Gong is the cornerstone of traditional Chinese medicine. Sometimes called "meditation in motion", Qi Gong includes slow, dance-like movements to improve breathing, reduce stress, and gently move and stretch the body. It can be done standing or in a chair.  Research shows that it has great benefits for promoting health and wellness and longevity in older adults. All levels are welcome. This is a monthly drop-in class - come to as many or as few sessions as you'd like. Registration is optional but encouraged.

In the past, Qi Gong has been a virtual program, but starting in July, it will take place in person. Barring inclimate weather, it will be held in Highland Park next to the Woodbury Branch. In cases of bad weather, it will be held inside Woodbury Branch. If you have any questions, please reach out to Amy at adelpo@denverlibrary.org.

Funded by the NextFifty Initiative.
