Caregiving can be so many things -- challenging, exhausting, beautiful, meaningful, and complicated. The better you take care of yourself, the better the experience will be for both you and the person you are caring for.

In this class, you will learn the skills and tools you need to better care for yourself as a caregiver. Over six class sessions, you will learn about important self care behaviors, how to manage difficult emotions, how to increase your confidence as a caregiver, and how to effectively use community resources.

This class will take place in person over six Thursdays: April 4, April 11, April 18, April 25, May 2, and May 9.

As part of this class, free respite care will be provided to attendees who meet certain eligibility requirements. If you would like to explore this possibility, please register by March 14 and indicate that you are seeking respite.

This class is being offered by Erin Kilmurray and Kelsey Vander Veen of the Denver Regional Council of Governments.

The class is free, but registration is required by calling 303-480-5656 or emailing caregiversvcs@drcog.org.
