This online program, presented by David Duffield and Emily Ferrufino Coqueugniot will give an overview the history of the Matt Kailey History Committee and talk about the history of transgender people in Colorado. We will cover general stories including Frenchy Vosbaugh in Trinidad, Colorado in 1907, cross-dressers (a historic term at the time) in Denver, Meeker, and other Colorado Cities. The lecture will cover the history of the Gender Identity Center and lay out ideas for the work ahead in transgender studies.
