Curious about what tools the ideaLAB has to offer? The laser cutter is a machine that uses light to engrave and cut different materials like wood, fabric, and acrylic. In this workshop we’ll learn laser cutter basics to create a DIY wooden lantern! This program is ideal for folks age 50+

This program will take place in person at the Sam Gary ideaLAB. Each participant will attend three sessions. 

  • Session 1: Join us for a lab tour and orientation--10/6

  • Session 2: Sign up to complete your lantern in a small group on one of the following dates– 10/13, 10/20, or 10/27 (sign up will take place during the first session)

  • Session 3: Pick up and share your final project!--11/03
