Navigating Grief and Loss (Session Three): Reflective Life Workshop - Making Meaning Out of Grief

Program Description

Event Details

Psychologist David Kessler identifies a sixth stage of grief -- finding meaning -- as one of the ways we move through grief and loss. In this workshop, we will hold space for grief and write and share stories as a way to find meaning in it. We will practice how externalizing grief can be a way of processing it.

This program is led by Daniel Weinshenker of StoryCenter. Daniel has an MA in Creative Writing and an MSW with a focus on Oncology Social Work and has spent the past 20 years leading trauma-focused writing and storytelling workshops for individuals and communities.
