April is National Poetry Month and Denver Public Library is pleased to bring you a reading & panel of poets who reside in Colorado. Representing a broad spectrum of relationship to poetry and place, the poets - Sheree Brown, Franklin Cruz, Sueyeun Juliette Lee, and Suzi Q. Smith - will discuss their art, and in honor of Earth Day, read from work which honors the Earth and our connection to the places that shape us. Nature is all around, and so is poetry!

Spanish interpretation will be available live at this virtual event.

Abril es el Mes Nacional de la Poesía, y la Biblioteca Pública de Denver se complace en presentar las lecturas y un panel de poetas y poetisas con residencia en Colorado. Representando un amplio espectro de relaciones entre poesía y espacio, los poetas Sheree Brown, Franklin Cruz, Sueyen Juliette Lee y Suzi Q. Smith hablarán sobre su arte, y en honor al Día de la Tierra, leerán algunas de sus obras que hacen honor a nuestro planeta y a nuestra conexión con los lugares que nos han moldeado.¡La naturaleza, al igual que la poesía, está en todo lo que nos rodea!
