Event Details

This talk will walk participants through the story of the Leadville Irish community, two great miners strikes led by Irish immigrants, and the struggle for dignity and respect. We will also examine the current effort to construct a massive Irish memorial in Evergreen Cemetery next to the Old Catholic pauper section.
