Program Description

Event Details

Engaging in a mindfulness practice can bring many benefits to us all. Mindfulness training increases self awareness and self acceptance, and it enhances our physical and mental well being. When we are mindful as part of a group or class like this one, the practice increases our sense of connection to other people and to our community.

But what is mindfulness? And how do we cultivate it? In this program, we will share writings and poetry about mindfulness -- its history, its philosophy, and its practical application. Then we will meditate silently as a group. At the end of the class, we will share our reflections.

Registration is required.
