Memory Cafe is a fun place to socialize, relax, and engage with people experiencing memory loss and their families/caregivers. Each cafe has a focus—such as music or art—to facilitate the main goal, which is a social connection for individuals with shared experiences. At the Memory Cafe, you can just be yourself -- without worrying about remembering or forgetting.

Theme: Interactive Drumming with Bob Hall of the Kusogea Nobi Drum Ensemble.

Description: Please join Bob Hall of the Kusogea Nobi Drum Ensemble for an interactive drumming experience. Participants will be introduced to the different drums and their history, and will learn three different sounds using call and response. 

About instructor: Bob Hall has been teaching African drumming and its' evolution also performing with the Kusogea Nobi Drum Ensemble with Young Audiences/Think360Arts inc. for over 30 years. Bob began drumming over 45 years ago with Mr. Adetunji Joda and the Irepo African Dance and Drum Troupe.
