Memory Cafe is a fun place to socialize, relax, and engage with people experiencing memory loss and their families/caregivers. Each cafe has a focus—such as music or art—to facilitate the main goal, which is a social connection for individuals with shared experiences. At the Memory Cafe, you can just be yourself -- without worrying about remembering or forgetting.

Theme: Swallow Hill Ukulele Workshop with Music Therapist Kristen McSorely

Swallow Hill Music's Ukulele Workshop introduces the ukulele to participants, how to play and the history of the instrument! Participants will learn some chords and a song or two! Led by board certified music therapist Kirsten McSorely, participants will sing and strum along.

This program will be held in person at the Virginia Village Library
