Ever heard of a zine? A zine is a mini-magazine-of-sorts that is independently made and distributed for free throughout the community. What accumulates in a zine can represent a particular moment in time, poetry, artwork, doodles or simply a collection of ideas. The Betterish twist: creating zines that can teach and share information that might otherwise be known as a menu, program or informational guide.

Create a simple step-by-step guide or small compilation on something you feel passionate about: your Grandma’s recipes, your tips & tricks for [enter your own awesome idea here]. Previously made zines from this workshop include “How to Make a Kale Salad,” “How to Have a Fun Summer” and “How to Be Kind On the Grind.” All materials provided. Please register to attend this event.
