Join the Bob Ragland branch every month for LoUD (Library of Unity & Diversity), a free community centered music and performance series for all ages! This family friendly series and is supported by Denver Arts & Venues’ Denver Music Advancement Fund.  Drinks and food are available for free during the event!* While supplies last.

This month features local Five Points artist, Kayla Marque and African dance and interactive drumming by the Mokomba Ensemble!

Hailing from the future and raised in Denver, by way of her mothership, Marque expands the talents of her creative family to deliver an engaging catalog of music that fluidly blends elements from a range of diverse genres and styles. Pulling from internal and external inspirations, Kayla strives to create positive change while exploring our shared experiences of pain, trauma, mental health, self love and healing.

The Mokomba Ensemble is a traditional and contemporary West African Drum and Dance Ensemble based in Boulder, Colorado. They are multinational performance group, with current members originating in Ghana, Senegal, Haiti, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico and the U.S.
