Little University: MINDFULNESS AND YOGA with MISS NATALIE

Ideal for ages Birth to 5 - accompanied by an adult.

Description

Young children are naturally active, but life sometimes requires calmness.  This sweet session will walk you and your little one through simple yoga poses.  No experience required!

Let’s take this one step further, and make a project that helps practice calmness at home! 

 

CALMING JARS: Self-control is tricky for children ages birth through preschool.

Last month, we talked about Mindful Movement.  This month, we will work on stillness.  

You and your child will create a Calming Jar to take home, which will encourage stillness.

Grown-ups will learn how and why this tool works with young children.
