Laser Cutting Basics

Want to make awesome things with laser cutters but don't know where to start? Join us in the Sam Gary ideaLAB for our Laser Basics class! We'll introduce you to what lasers can do, how to operate them safely, and how to create your own designs using vector graphics software. Best of all, you'll get a chance to cut one of your designs into wood on our Glowforge Pro laser cutter.

This class is exclusively for adults age 18 and up. Registration is required. Supplies and equipment are provided, all you need to bring is a readiness to learn!
