Event Details

Memory Cafe is a fun place to socialize, relax, and engage with people experiencing memory loss and their families/caregivers. Each cafe has a focus—such as music or art—to facilitate the main goal, which is a social connection for individuals with shared experiences. At the Memory Cafe, you can just be yourself -- without worrying about remembering or forgetting.

Today's Theme - History Colorado Presents: The Story of Colorado Told Through Historical Objects

History Colorado staff present a hands on version of Colorado history. See and touch and share in the rich history of Colorado as you encounter objects connected to our state's extensive mining history. Travel to Mesa Verde, our country's oldest architectural site by seeing artifacts from there and learn from the wisdom of heritage grandmother trunks who share their experiences of being Coloradans. All are welcome to this interactive and experiential presentation.
