Program Description

Event Details

Memory Cafe is a fun place to socialize, relax, and engage with people experiencing memory loss and their families/caregivers. Each cafe has a focus—such as music or art—to facilitate the main goal, which is a social connection for individuals with shared experiences. At the Memory Cafe, you can just be yourself -- without worrying about remembering or forgetting.

Today's Theme - Creative Movement

Description – Today the Colorado Ballet will help us explore a variety of dance concepts, such as, size, direction, levels, energy, and pathways while connecting as a community. This class builds strength and flexibility in both mind and body, uses guided movement to help reinforce neuro pathways in the brain, develops our spatial awareness, and encourages creativity. Come explore movement as we draw inspiration from our surroundings, ourselves, and each other!
