Event Details

Denver is known for its variety of unique sculptures, but have you ever wondered how they were made? Local artist Duncan Parks won a contract with the city in January 2020 to create a piece of inspiring art at the Hadley Branch Library that engages the neighborhood and he is now in the process of creating it.

He is using audio recordings of community members reading stories to loved ones to create sculptures that will then be attached to the outside of the library. In this info session, you will hear from Duncan himself about the project and learn how you can become a part of Hadley's history.

Registration is encouraged. If you have questions, please contact Kat at kburney@denverlibrary.org.

To request a sign language interpreter or real time captioning via CART Services, please contact SignLanguageServices@denvergov.org or call 720-913-8487, with a minimum three (3) business day notice. To request other accommodations, please contact programs@denverlibrary.org.

Automated voice-to-text captioning is available for all virtual programs. Need help getting set up?
