Hour of Code Hosted by Amazon

Program Type: Computers and Tech
Ages: Kid
Ideal for ages 8 to 15 - accompanied by an adult.

The Hour of Code™ is a global event where kids and teens can learn the basics of computer programming. Anybody can learn to write code and our instructors want to show you just how easy it is to get started.

The event is absolutely free to attend - advance registration required.  All ages are welcome, but the material will be most suited to kids between the ages of 8 – 15 years. Students will be using an interactive code-building tool to help Rey, Leia, R2-D2, BB-8 and other beloved STAR WARS™ characters solve puzzles.

The class is being taught by a team of software developers from Amazon.com. Please register in advance for this event.
