Denver Public Library’s Manager of Western History and Genealogy, Jim Kroll, will present artifacts from and discuss the department’s Laurena Senter Collection. During the 1920s Laurena Senter was the “Imperial Commander of the Colorado Women of the Ku Klux Klan.” There will also be a panel featuring local civil rights activist Theo Wilson, who went undercover online with the modern Klan, Phil Goodstein (In The Shadow Of The Klan) and Charlene Porter (Boldfaced Lies) who will discuss their books and related national and local current events.
