Join us for a free screening of Nathalie Álvarez Mesén 2021 film Clara Sola, and stay for a thought-provoking discussion led by our film lovers staff afterwards! 

In a remote village in Costa Rica, Clara, a withdrawn 36-year-old woman, has an uncanny affinity for creatures large and small that allows to find solace in the natural world around her. She experiences a sexual and mystical awakening as she begins a journey to to break free from social and religious conventions and become the master of her sexuality and new-found powers. 

Clara Sola is unrated by MPAA. Some scenes contain mature themes which would typically fall under an "R" rating and be inappropriate for children under 17 without an accompanying parent or adult guardian.
