Dreamers: A Film by Dick Alweis

Program Type: Movies
Ages: Adult

In 2012, D.A.C.A. was created by President Obama to protect the rights of eligible immigrant children who had arrived in the United States. In 2017, President Trump rescinded that protection. Dreamers is a half-hour film profiling five D.A.C.A. participants and their past and present. The project was created to assist in understanding the unique situation our communities and these young people find themselves in.
