Event Details

Engage in a lively interactive community building workshop with students from MSU Denver Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies Journey Through Our Heritage program. Come create fantastic and colorful calaveras de azúcar utilizing paint, glitter, frosting, and other materials to create unique and beautiful pieces to honor your ancestors. Take it home or leave it in the community altar to honor your loved ones.

All ages welcome.

 

Participe en un taller comunitario interactivo y animado con estudiantes del programa "Viaje en nuestro patrimonio" del Departamento de Estudios Chicanos de Metropolitan State University. Venga a crear calaveras de azúcar coloridas usando pintura, brillantina, glaceado, y otros materiales para crear piezas únicas y hermosas en honor a sus antepasados. Llévenselas a casa o déjenlas en el altar comunitario para honrar a sus seres queridos.
