Event Details

Does the ghost of a lamb wander through the Littleton Cemetery, taking upon itself the sins of Alferd Packer? How is it that there are still more than 2,000 bodies in Cheesman Park? Why do people keep coming and going from Riverside Cemetery? Do old bones provide excellent fertilizer for Botanic Gardens? All of these questions and the story of the city’s graveyards will be probed during this lively talk by the city’s commanding historian.

This will be a “hybrid” meeting which means we encourage and welcome members to come to our new meeting venue, Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 8545 E. Dry Creek Road, Centennial, while those unable to be present in person can attend via Zoom. We hope to see you there so you can enjoy cookies and friendly energizing conversation. For those wishing to attend with Zoom, please email ColumbineGenealogy@gmail.com, to register.
