Join us to celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Heritage Month!

In this Cherokee basket weaving class, Salix Dezrea Renan (Muscogee/Cherokee) will share the basics of how to weave an Oklahoma style Cherokee round reed basket from start to finish. Salix enjoys inspiring others with the immediate sense of gratification and accomplishment that comes with weaving. They hope to create space for curiosity and discovery, as well as build knowledge, cultivate respect, and open dialogue around traditional and contemporary American Indian life ways and worldviews. Limited to first 15 participants, no registration.
