Please join us Tuesday, May 10, at 1:00 for the Columbine Genealogical Historical Society Spring Fling.
We are happy to announce we will return to serving refreshments at the meeting. In lieu of our May luncheon we will have a Dessert Table. Please plan to bring a dessert to share with the group. We will provide serving utensils for the desserts as well as coffee. All are welcome! Bring a friend!
Our in-person speaker at the hybrid meeting will be Jeffrey B. Miller, award winning Denver author, speaking on the topic “The Commission for Relief in Belgium” in World War I. Mr. Miller’s grandparents were involved in this mission, and as a result he became interested in learning the full story. He will have his latest book, “Yanks Behind the Lines” and others for sale.
There will be a drawing for festive door prizes also, so put a flower in your lapel, wear your spring bonnet, and come join us for our May 10 meeting at 1p.m. at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 8545 E. Dry Creek Rd., Centennial. Watch for the balloons out front directing you to the turn to the church. This will be our only May meeting. If you are unable to attend in person we will see you on Zoom (send an email to ColumbineGenealogy@gmail.com for more information and to request the Zoom link).
