Event Details

Join us for a family-friendly fun-filled festival of decorating sugar skulls. Explore the history and stories surrounding this tradition. Learn about the ancient Aztec ritual that celebrated the lives of those who were deceased and how with the 17th century introduction of sugar, after the Spanish conquest of Mexico, sugar skulls came to be a Mexican tradition. Create and decorate your own sugar skull.
