Did you know that our thoughts and beliefs about aging affect our health, wellness, likelihood of developing dementia, and even our longevity?
Groundbreaking research by Dr. Becca Levy of the Yale School of Public Health demonstrates that having age-positive beliefs can have tremendous benefits. Check out Dr. Levy's book at the library.
Join us and Dr. Levy for a fascinating presentation about her research, followed by a conversation about how we can attain and retain positive beliefs about aging when surrounded by an ageist society. We'll explore things that we can do as individuals, and together, to strengthen age-positive beliefs and to address ageism.
