Our virtual book club will be held Thursday, June 17 at 4 p.m..  This month we will be featuring: Child of the Civil Rights Movement by Paula Young Shelton, illustrated by Raul Colón. Ideal for ages 5-8.

Book Explorer Kit: Those interested in attending book club are invited to pick up a book club kit from any branch library location starting June 1st.  Please note there are limited quantities available and they are being distributed on a first come basis. 

Picking up a kit is not required to attend book club. Attendance may be limited due to staffing.  Download an always avaiable e-book copy of the book. 

What to bring: Optional but Fun! Some of our activities may require paper and coloring markers or crayons. Please have these handy before you join our book club session.

Book Explorers is a free program exploring books and fun enrichment activities for elementary school kids from kindergarten through fifth grade. Book Explorers connects eBooks and print books, online discussions and activities, virtual book club meetings, and take-home kits. It’s like a book club for kids that you can do anytime, anywhere.
