Event Details

The Best of Enemies (2019) directed by Robin Biswell reimagines the conflict over school integration in Durham, N.C. during the summer of 1971 between Civil Rights activist Ann Atwater (Taraji P. Henson) and Klansman C.P. Ellis (Sam Rockwell). Join the discussion and learn more about this true story (based on the book by Osha Gray Davidson), explore what worked or didn't work in the film's re-telling and identify lessons for resolving conflict in our communities.
