Mona Siegel is the author of the new book Peace on Our Terms: The Global Battle for Women's Rights After the First World War, which recounts the extraordinary story of women from around the world who stood up and demanded social, economic, and political justice on behalf of their sex a century ago. Her talk will examine American women's historic battle for suffrage rights in the context of global movements for women's rights.
