In recognition of Black Music Month and Juneteenth, join us in the opening reception for “Sister Rosetta,” an original art exhibition by 2023 Mayor's Arts and Culture Award winning artist Chloe Duplessis! This premiering exhibition honors the life and musical legacy of Rock and Roll pioneer, Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Enjoy light refreshments and live music while you view the disability-friendly artwork, meet the artist, and learn about Rosetta Tharpe’s contributions to music history as an African American woman.
