Program Description

Event Details

Ageism Awareness Day is an opportunity to draw attention to the existence and impact of ageism in our society. It is also a time to think about how we can reframe aging in our communities. The World Health Organization has called ageism a socially accepted form of prejudice that is as damaging as it is pervasive. Join us in this conversation on Zoom between Margaret Morganroth Gullette, an internationally renowned scholar and thought leader on ageism, and Janine Vanderburg of Changing the Narrative, which is a leading U.S. campaign to end ageism. Registration required to receive the Zoom link for the program.
