Why do we have Christmas trees? Or for that matter holiday lights, egg nog, holly or mistletoe. Join Active Minds we seek to explain the origins of a
wide variety of holiday traditions and customs. Our focus will be mostly upon secular winter holiday traditions, many of which are associated with the winter solstice. Sponsored by the Central Park Master Community Association.
