Try out a new creative project at home with the ideaLAB. Celebrate Valentine's Day by crafting a unique card for a friend or loved one in this online follow-along session.
Learn about basic electronic circuits while crafting a light up card with copper tape, a battery, and an LED.
You can use supplies provided in an ideaLAB Take & Make Kit or your own supplies from home.
To get an ideaLAB Take & Make Kit: stop by Hadley, Hampden, Montbello, Rodolfo "Corky" Gonzales, or Sam Gary Branches and request a kit starting Saturday January 30. Supplies are limited, first come first served.

To follow along with the project you will need:
- A printed template on 2 pieces of cardstock, a pdf is available here
- 5mm copper tape (~15 length)
- 5mm LED
- 3V button battery (CR2032)
- LilyPad Button Board (optional)
- Piece of wax paper, parchment paper, or vellum
- Decorating supplies (stickers, markers, etc)
- Hobby knife
- Tape or stickers
- Optional ruler
This is a casual learning environment, and makers of all skill levels are welcome.
