Join editor Cynthia Swanson (author of The Bookseller) and contributors David Heska Wanbli Weiden, Manuel Ramos, and R. Alan Brooks as they discuss and read from their stories in the just-released anthology Denver Noir. The latest addition to Akashic Books’ award-winning Noir series, Denver Noir features fourteen “dark, morally ambiguous” stories, each set in a distinct Denver neighborhood. Named a “Most Anticipated Crime Fiction Book of 2022” by CrimeReads, Denver Noir features all new stories by Peter Heller, Barbara Nickless, Cynthia Swanson, Mario Acevedo, Francelia Belton, R. Alan Brooks, D.L. Cordero, Amy Drayer, Twanna LaTrice Hill, Manuel Ramos, Mark Stevens, Mathangi Subramanian, David Heska Wanbli Weiden, and Erika T. Wurth. BookBar will be on hand to sell copies.
