Why wait? Get started now preparing for April 15th, Tax Day with the University of Denver’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. The presentation will cover increasingly relevant tax topics, including (1) advance child tax credit; (2) earned income tax credit; (3) Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR) refunds; and (4) student debt forgiveness. These topics may be pertinent to individuals with children, low- to moderate-income workers; full-year Colorado residents; and those with student debt. Q& A to follow. Program will not be recorded.

The University of Denver’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic is an organization independent from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that represents low-income taxpayers before the IRS in audits, appeals, collections, and federal tax litigation. This presentation will be given by two J.D. students who are currently enrolled in the clinic.
