Denver Public Library DevCamp

A mentor helping a participant at the 2017 DevCamp in the Montbello Branch Library

DevCamp is a free summer camp on web development for teens ages 12-19 offered by the ideaLAB at Denver Public Library. It's a chance to learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Over five days, teens learn the basics of front-end web development, work side-by-side with professional web developers, listen to guest speakers, and work in a team to code a website for a client. To see examples of the work participants have made, please see our DevCamp page on Evolver.

There will be three DevCamps in 2019. Each camp runs from 1 - 5 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 1 - 6 PM on Friday. Friends and family are invited to join us at 5 PM on the final Friday to see what the teens have created, eat pizza, and celebrate their accomplishments.

Due to high demand, please register for only one camp. Registration means that you are agreeing to attend the entire week - each day builds upon the last, so missing one day leaves both you and your team behind.

DevCamp dates and registration information will be available soon.
