The Year of the Stag

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. And you know what you know. You are the guy who'll decide where to go." - Dr. Seuss

Adverb: Without a partner at a social gathering: "a lot of boys went stag."

1. Showing no activity; dull and sluggish: "a stagnant economy."

2. (of an atmosphere of a confined space) Having no current or flow.

Singles, it's time for us to step out, meet other intelligent people and have some fun socializing. It doesn't matter whether or not you meet a potential date (though that is nice when it happens) -- what's important is that we get together, enjoy each others company and acknowledge the things that make us similar -- we're smart, we stand on our own two feet and we all have things to offer!

Fresh City Life pairs up with author, burlesque star and hostess Vivienne VaVoom to bring you Stag - social club. A night to meet and mingle for single, intelligent people, Vivienne VaVoom will always lend Stag an air of celebration. Come and chat with other interesting singles while indulging in wine and drink specials - a warm up for a fun Friday night. Mad Wine is the same place as Novo Coffee in case wine isn’t your thing. Always third Fridays. Registration is encouraged.

Host Vivienne VaVoom has something special planned for this Friday's Stag: "For this month, one of the gals last month suggested I teach a simplified bump and grind lesson, which will lead into my 'how to look confident (even if you don't feel confident) and charm a room' lesson that I teach. It's totally applicable to both genders and the bump and grind lesson loosens everyone up!"
