Fresh City Life My Branch has 2 great authors featured this weekend. Choose one, or be eclectic and come to both!

Romance author Cindi Myers will be at Schlessman on Saturday, June 11 at 2:00 p.m. Ms. Myers believes in love at first sight, good chocolate, cold champagne, that people who don't like animals can't be trusted, and that God obviously has a sense of humor. She is the author of over 40 novels. Her latest is Work of Heart. Others include:

Join Cindi to hear about her work and find out if the life of a romance novelist is really like one of the books!

Steve Friesen will be at Schlessman on Sunday, June 12 at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Friesen will present a slide show and lecture entitled Buffalo Bill: A Life of Controversy, based on his recently published book Buffalo Bill: Scout, Showman, Visionary. The book is a finalist in the History/Biography category of the soon to be announced Colorado Book Awards. The presentation will include a synopsis of Buffalo Bill Cody's life and a discussion of the controversies associated with Buffalo Bill during his lifetime and in the years since. Mr. Friesen has been director of The Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave since 1995. Come learn about the legend, and be inspired to visit the museum in nearby Golden!

At both events, books will be available for sale from The Broadway Book Mall. Would Dad or Grandpa like a signed copy of the Buffalo Bill book for Father's Day?
