Dinner and a Show at FCL

Free fun to share!

If you're at a loose end this weekend, Fresh City Life has a couple events for you.

Our cooking demo series, Farm Fresh City, continues with Chef Shellie's workshop called Putting By -- focusing on cooking that can be preserved through freezing or refrigeration. Perfect for the summer and early fall, when it's best to heat up your stove only once or twice a week. Co-sponsored by Whole Foods Market and Grant Family Farms, our friends at Grant Family Farms will be giving away a share of veggies to a lucky audience member. Recipes and samples included. Join the fun on Saturday, July 16, 1:30-3 p.m., Level B2 Conference Center.

After your Sunday brunch, pop in to the Burnham Hoyt Reading Room (near the west entrance) for our 2 o'clock concert with Sherefe Trio. This Boulder group specializes in the songs and vocalizations of traditional Middle Eastern and Balkan music. This is the debut performance of this group at Denver Public Library.

Whatever adventures you have this weekend, hope you have a great time!
