Tonight, September 12 at 5:00 p.m. at Schlessman representatives from the Social Security Administration and from Waddell & Reed, Financial Advisors will answer your questions in Social Security and Retirement: What You Need to Know. Learn how to estimate your Social Security benefits, if there is a "best age" to start receiving benefits, and if you can work and receive benefits at the same time. Is your child ready for the school year? Find out in Academic Fitness for Fall on Tuesday, September 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ross Cherry Creek Branch. Barbara Vande Berg, Education Specialist, will present an informative and inspirational talk on how to help your child stay academically fit for school. She will address questions regarding the spectrum of special needs seen in our schools today ranging from Sensory Processing Disorder to AD(H)D to Twice Exceptional and Gifted.

Ever wonder how travel pros do it? Learn their secrets in Travel Like a Flight Attendant on Wednesday, September 14 at 6:00 p.m. at the Smiley Branch. Former flight attendance James Rogers will share insider tips, advice, and travel stories. James is currently a librarian in the Western History and Genealogy department at the Denver Public Libary.
