Denver Jewish Community Reads Preview

Fresh City Life My Branch is proud to partner with the Mizel Arts and Culture Center to preview their Denver Jewish Community Reads 2011 selection.

On Sunday, October 2 at 3:30 p.m. at the Schlessman Family Branch, join us as we preview and talk about the historical context of Anita Diamant's Day After Night, the Mizel Arts and Culture Center's Denver Jewish Community Reads selection for this year. The presentation and discussion will be led by Dr. Caryn Aviv, Senior Instructor in Secular Jewish Society and Civilization at the University of Denver. Light refreshments will be served. Day After Night will be available for purchase (or, of course, you may place it on hold at at the event (purchase proceeds go to MACC).

On October 26, at 7:00 p.m., author Anita Diamant will speak about creating Day After Night at the MACC's JAAMM (Jewish Arts, Authors, Movies, and Music) Festival at the JCC.
