Today we're releasing five new titles just added to Volume: Denver Public Library's free local music project. Volume features Colorado bands from a variety of genres, and allows our customers to download and stream this great local music for free.
Greetings, ravenous music fans who are athirst for locally sourced music!
We have four new additions to the VOLUME website this week!
First up we have Dragondeer with their EP 'Don't That Feel Good'.
'Don't That Feel Good' stomps it's way out of the gates with the fantastic song of the same name setting the pace for the album to travel on through many fine permutations of the Blues genre.
Submissions for the first round of our Volume Denver project close next Thursday, May 15. If you're a musician and you've already gotten your submissions in, thanks so much - we've received a lot of really great stuff, and are so excited to get this off the ground. If you haven't submitted yet, get it in by the end of next Thursday so we can consider you for this round.
Don't know about you, but I've been anxiously awaiting the return of the Biennial of the Americas for 2 years! And now that it's here there is so much to do I barely know where to start & wonder if I'll have the energy to attend all the events!
First there are the nightly public symposia. I'm attending Tuesday and Wednesday nights - July 16, Unleashing Human Potential: Reinventing Communities, Business, and Education; July 17, Reinventing Communities and How We Live. But not sure I'm up for the other 2 nights of discussions - July 18, Reinventing Business As Usual; July 19, Reinventing Education for the Global Market, because by Thursday I'm ready to party!
