At the Kids CoderDojo, young people between 7 and 11 learn how to code, develop websites, apps, programs, games and much more. In addition to learning to code, members meet like minded people, show off what they’ve been working on and so on. CoderDojo makes development and learning to code a fun, sociable and awesome experience. CoderDojo also puts a strong emphasis on open source and free software, and has a strong network of members and volunteers globally. CoderDojo has just one rule: “Above All: Be Cool“, bullying, lying, wasting people’s time and so on is uncool.
Students will uncover Colorado's past by analyzing rocks, fossils, and soil materials from three different geologic eras. Program by Denver Museum of Nature and Science

Learn how animals and plants are uniquely adapted to life in Colorado's ecosystems. Investigate predator-prey relationships using clues revealed by skulls and pelts. Encounter wildlife all the way from Colorado's low-lying wetlands to the snowy alpine. Program by Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
Kids will learn to make video games using scale-able design techniques and strategies to increase computational thinking skills. We start with simple 2D creations and advance to 3D games. If you have your own laptop, please bring it.
