Celebrate children and world cultures with the Denver Public Library, Denver Art Museum, History Colorado Center, Clyfford Still Museum, and Byers-Evans House Museum. Fun activities for children and adults: international dance and music performances, artmaking, storytelling, costumes, tours, and more. There will be a children’s craft in the Central Library’s Schlessman Hall.

2014 Comic of the Year: Adam Cayton-Holland featuring Sam Tallent

Enjoy an 18-and-over show with Adam Cayton-Holland, recently honored as the 2014 Comic of the Year during the 2014 Denver Comedy Awards. You may have seen this Denver-based comedian during his monthly live comedy show and web series The Grawlix, on Conan or Comedy Central’s @midnight. Opening the show is Sam Tallent, the host of Film on the Rocks at Red Rocks Amphitheater. He would love to talk to you about Flannery O'Connor, Larry Brown or Camus.

Now the Colorado Legislature is in the process of implementing this amendment to the state constitution. At the same time, marijuana use remains a violation of Federal law and those authorities are still weighing their options regarding this change in Colorado state law. Join Active Minds as we delve into the background of this unfolding story.
